To die for Margherita & Grama's pies! I crave Dante's every week. Wish they had small eggplant and White pies as advertised on their menu, but... LOVE these guys!

This review is only based on delivery. I walked passed this neighborhood pizza place. I looked on Yelp and found everyone loved their pizza. I decided to bookmark it to try it. I love grandma pizza. It's a prefect combo of delicious crust and balance of cheese and sauce. Last night my husband and I ordered the grandma pizza from Dante's. It's about $21-22 dollars for a whole pie. The pie has about 16 slices. I am not sure what they have on their menu. I just love grandma and veggies pizza. They have both of that on the menu.
I have to agree with other Yelpers, the ingredients taste fresh. When  I first bit into the slice, it was cheesy yummy freshness. For me though the crust was not thin. It's not like your biting into pure pizza dough. You're will get the amazed with the balance of everything. I cant stress this point enough, the cheese is amazing. The sauce of tad sweet for my taste but truthfully I loved it. When I put the crushed pepper the sweet sauce was complemented each bite. I had three slices but the aroma made me bite into another slice. One thing I loved was the fact, I didn't get that " fully belly I cant move" feeling from eating this pizza. I think that's only testament your amazing fresh ingredients.  If you treat your customers right they will keep coming back. I think this place takes to their hearts.
When I woke up the morning, I smelled the amazing aroma. That amazing and tastes plays with your mind. I even had the left over for breakfast. I even loved it when I mircowaved it. Basically I loved everything about their gradma pizza. My husband however was not impressed. He said the gradma pizza should be thin. He didn't like the crust. He felt like crust is too much. However, he did like the taste of the sauce and cheese. He felt the pizza was "ok".  Palate are like opinions, they are dime a dozen. Try them and make your decision.

Quality option if you're looking for classic NYC pizza or take out in the Forest Hills area. For starters, prices are right and the portions are huge. They have plenty of entree options if you're looking to have something more substantial than pizza or want to enjoy a classic Italian meal delivered right to your door. Some of my favorites are the chicken pizzaiola, eggplant parm and chicken bruschetta. They have a $10 minimum on cards so if you're looking to grab a couple of slices come with cash. Only complaint is that they are behind on the times with online ordering or utilizing mobile app delivery services. Leaving you to have to call to place an order and the guy's are sometimes pretty short fused and unfriendly...if you don't want to take orders over the phone than look at alternatives to avoid it.

Great Pizza spot, very  clean and Air conditioning. ( Visited in August ) Great assortment of food, although I'm a pizza kind of guy. Sicilian slices are good also.
    Parking readily available...

Pizza-fanatic! So I had to find pizza in the area since I was over here.

Traditional pizza spot, so don't expect nothing too crazy.
It was good pizza, good sauce and good cheese.
I like crunchy crust, and it was crunchy just the way I like it. The Sicilian slice was pretty good too, alottttt of mozzarella cheese just the way I like!

Pizza should be classic, it always depends on the crust, sauce, and cheese. Let's say they pretty much have it together. Good pizza in the area.
